Dr. Verna is also a motivational speaker and author of The Power of People: Four Kinds of People who Can Change Your Life, a book that empowers and equips individuals with strategies for discovering their personal power and pursuing excellence. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota.
